Koinonia, communitas, comunità. La “comunità educante” tra antinomie e contraddizioni

Amelia Broccoli

Abstract

The “educating community” among antinomies and contradictions

The contribution focuses on the concept of “educating community”, widely used in our contemporary world, not only in the pedagogical discourse, to highlight its ambiguity and structural contradictions. Using the etymological analysis of the Latin term com-munitas as an “unmasking device” it has been possible to highlight that that is that it is “common”, it is not what is “proper”, but a mūnus, is a task. Therefore, it is possible to argue that people living in community not have nothing in common, but the community meaning it is made from the ability to share a task, a debt, a duty.
